Night Out

Did this after a long time. was with dubs & budds and by the time we were talking & eating bread omlette we saw the dawn breaking. I knew i couldn't sleep now and think of heading to office in working hours so went there at 8. cameback at 2 and slept the whole day/night -- weird it feels after all these years. It was so usual earlier.

Curious case of Benjamin Button

Saw the movie yesterday. Nice movie, nice concept. Given a choice, would I want to be BB? No, it's too lonely and opposite!

You live just once and it must be the way it is.



Another thing about the day was that I was woken up at 0500 Hrs by atul, ajay & tarun. His car'd suffered from the madness that is so easy to be repetitive whenever rain comes down pouring in this city called Gurgaon - a True-gaon if you ask me.
Woke up late of course, went to the shop late in the day.

what has been on these days

a lot actually, let's try listing some:
- car -- yeah, i had an accident quite sometime back, July 3 to be specific. Am on tyagiG's bike these days. expect to receive some money from the insurance by this month end .. next is what is still a question

- Swine flu -- it's in the air! ... many deaths in the country. only yesterday did the death toll start in delhi -- it's 2 as of now(delhi)

-- kaminey: a movie which i happened to see in theatre...nice mktg by these ppl...the movie is just ok and bit to much overhyped with ppl giving it more than 4 stars (out of 5) and everybody is all good good words for the movie, maybe i can't appreciate things in life!

-- work -- getting wierder by the day -- no comments!

-- Cofi -- safely in binaguri now, and having a time of his life or so i hear. Actually i think the move should have been made quite some time back, but nevermind

-- sanjeev's on leave -- and that leaves us with no one to do our work! -- from doing dishes to washing clothes, boiling milk, ordering water, filling bottles and ignoring the general cleanliness issues. Hopefully he should be back today -- went on a good 10 days leave

-- sekhon/dubey's move -- yep, they have moved from carlton estate to south city II -- it gets to be closer to where i reside currently. Sekhon was here yesterday with Builder, ordered dinner from daawat

Saw Butterfly effect 2

The movie was ok -- I had my initial doubts on this, having seen aplusk in the first one, i expected some starlets to be in this one too.
Hero has an accident and gets chances to get back to situation again. Then another mess-up happens, so he tries rectifying that  and so on...
had maggie + eggs + corn + sausages (all in one dish) and then sewain late in the night -- this was just to consume the milk that was overdoing.

Installment submission

Been long since I've posted. What has happened over the days? A lot -- have made and broken resolutions, many of them. Have dreamt and realised they've been shattered or dont seem that elusive now. have been influenced by a few concepts -- blown by some personalities, wanted to do something on the same lines and have seen it is tough -- about taking a call and deciding that, yes, this is the thing that i want to do -- about getting clarity into visions, thoughts, acts.

So, have had a few small targets set for myself:
 -- Get to know all my twitter followers -- thoroughly
 -- Get more followers -- at least in 4 figures
 -- Set-up two new blogs -- meaningful this time -- have also short-listed a few categories -- Movie Reviews, travelogs -- of course of the things that I know.
 -- Learn basic designing -- coding -- to the levels of being able to make a simple page with simple coding.

what can i say

i can't name it all. Somebody, anybody?
nothing much about the days gone by. have been heavily influenced by several things -- especially the anti-consumption thing.
Campaigns are heavy these days, usually get up early -- 6-6:30 to make up to it. yeah, the guys from e247 too have been joining us for about 6-7 days now. I wait as i write this night too.

Need to do some things with immediate effect -- start up writing.
what? about what? i don't know.

late to bed

Late to rise of course -- slept at almost 0600 hrs -- cofi was all over the place with his crap all over the place. Should've clicked a pic to make you believe the scum that we were in. The poor fellow is in quite deplorable condition, cant even dump properly and now when his tummy's upset, it's scary. He did it 3 times and then i slept watching him -- was amazed when i woke up when he did the second time -- i usually don't wake up once down.

woke up late -- 1030 -- reached late 1130, havoc's all around.

Morning Glory

Several days have gone by. still not much of movement in things that matter. Papa was here till day before. today woke up early -- in the true a.m., went to the newly-opened swimming pool, it was overcrowded for it's size -- with too many kids around. stayed there for an hour nevertheless. With all the chemicals in the water, i had my eyes deep purple, it was almost as if there was smoke on the water. enough.

Do not Honk!

It was the day to not to honk, to learn more about this initiative, to know what else is being done in the same lines by the same organization.

It is all over the place in NCR and I had noticed it on the toll.
The campaign has affected me, I have truly reduced my rate of honking!
Nice initiative is all I can say.

It was the name day today

and i couldn't make it, as i had expected.
oops... didn't even ask...
Just called to ask that... it still is noname! although we have the 1st phase that it has to be 's' or 'g'. I just blurted out to the dad that it gives us multi muti options these two letters -- garima, geeta, getika, gauri, geetanjali, gayatri, sushma, sarita, seema, sushmita, shilpi, suman, sarika, surabhi, shefali, sharda...gaah the list, of course is endless.

All those Yesterdays

A lot has happened over the days that i failed to write in on. ever since the 'cooler day'. went to sun city last sunday, paid a visit to 'the family'. Met a mate on the way back -- buddy was there at fekhon's place, met him too...we have a new idea and no idea how to do that. yesterday had gone with the office guys for dinner...met buddy there too, came back, buddy was at home when we returned... slept in my room with 3 cushions from the sofa acting as a perceived extra bed.

woke up in the am, composed no beat, it was an houre before i again awoke, and i know that i sleep till i smoke -- had this sudden info that we'd to go a2z -- not a very motivating meet there, free being the keyword for them.
Let's see what happens...tomorrow's the naming day -- dunno if i'll be able to make it there.

Nothing much to say about the days besides these -- There with an arbit pic i click -- will give more later.

cooler day

woke up in the am, as usual in a bad mood. it was damn hot and sticky icky. resolved to accelerate the cooler-purchase plan. it was 9 am already, thought would do it nevertheless. drove on the road, spotted a cooler-walla. Shakeel was home with me in 10 minutes to gather the requirements, suggested a 3500/- one with a larger fan to cost 4200/- i accepted without any negotiations, it was hot. got the news of no electricity@office, planned to go late. got the cooler almost ready, went srs, got potato-fluid for guys at home -- in this heat!
went to the village nearby, bought 3-pin point for the cooler.
went office, had to go for a meeting, went, it'd rained some time back and was pleasant. had the quick meet over, in 10 minutes or lesser. came back slogged in the office over qos line conquest.
waiting...
just realized i had another meeting today which i completely forgot to go to!

Aaya aaya toofaan

Borrrrring day, yet again... it's the way you take it or the way you get it. Office, home ...was waiting to go and get the power back on tennis game but then there was this great toofan, wind/sandstorm...had dubey come over in his car, with nihar. went for a mini drive by, came back, had the elevator incident. am back.
so what day is it? i'll say, toofaan day.

Chotu's blessed -- so are we!

Today started with ' take the power back day' but nothing much happened just like nothing that never happens, another day, another wash, another hope of coming up again...
day ended with losing to two half-my-age kids in a game of tennis. we were winning 5-2 at a point of time, lost that 6-7 (4-6), and another 3-6.
dubey'd come over.
then got the news that chotu's been blessed with a baby girl, wonder how he must be feeling, can't!
good, first girl in the new generation...wonder what he'll name her.
wonder when i see her.

correction--- didn't lose two games as mentioned, won one and lost the second one - thanks to my partner to remind me that.

Starting from one day behind

Yesterday, 17th May'09 was Naukri meet-up day at Moets, def col -- agenda, to finalize the trip place.
had hell of a day with car busting -- high temp., low engine oil, a/c not working -- relays gone... was sweating badly. dropped bheja/sekhon at his house, picked surabhi up from shankar vihar, got late in reaching.
